Job description

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC Technician to join our team!

We offer TOP PAY , health insurance, retirement, generous PTO and the BEST technician bonus structure in the area . The position is hourly + bonuses which are paid monthly. This is not your typical bonus structure; we promise it is worth your time to inquire and apply!

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as filter changes, coil cleaning, and lubrication
  • Conduct repairs on HVAC / R systems, including compressors, condensers, and evaporators
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with HVAC systems, using tools such as ohmmeters and schematics
  • Utilize brazing skills to repair equipment
  • Drive company van to service calls, ensuring all safety regulations are followed
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to company standards
  • Provide exceptional customer service, communicating effectively with customers and resolving any issues in a professional manner
  • Document all service calls and repairs, including any issues encountered or solutions implemented
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient completion of tasks
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in HVAC / R technology

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid drivers license
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC / R systems and components
  • Proficiency in using various tools and equipment, including multimeters and reading schematics
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds or more and work in a physically demanding environment
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
