SAP Program Manager

Job Summary : We are seeking an experienced Program Manager with a strong background in cloud migration projects and deep expertise in SAP modules and implementations. The ideal candidate will lead complex end-to-end migration programs, coordinating across technical and functional teams, business stakeholders, and cloud vendors to ensure the successful migration of SAP workloads to cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP). Key Responsibilities : Program Leadership & Strategy : Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of SAP-to-Cloud migration programs. Define program roadmaps, milestones, budgets, and timelines aligned with business objectives. Drive governance, risk mitigation, and stakeholder alignment across all phases of the migration. SAP Domain Expertise : Provide deep functional and technical understanding of core SAP modules : FI / CO, MM, SD, PP, QM, HCM, BW / BI, and S / 4HANA. Oversee system assessments, fit-gap analyses, and solution architecture related to SAP implementations and cloud readiness. Cloud Migration Execution : Collaborate with infrastructure, security, SAP BASIS, and cloud teams to ensure seamless migration of SAP systems to cloud platforms. Support the design of cloud-native architectures (e.g., HA / DR, scalability, security) for SAP workloads. Ensure minimal disruption to business operations during cutover and migration phases. Stakeholder & Vendor Management : Act as a liaison between internal stakeholders, SAP consultants, cloud vendors, and system integrators. Manage vendor contracts, SLAs, and performance to ensure quality delivery. Risk & Compliance : Identify, assess, and mitigate program risks, especially those related to data security, compliance, and system availability. Ensure adherence to IT governance, audit, and compliance standards including GDPR, SOX, and SAP licensing policies. Reporting & Communication : Deliver clear, concise program updates to executive stakeholders and steering committees. Track KPIs and success metrics to evaluate migration effectiveness and business value. Required Qualifications : Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field. 15+ years of experience in program / project management with a focus on SAP environments. Proven experience managing large-scale SAP migration projects to cloud (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Strong understanding of SAP architecture, modules, integrations, and data migration strategies. PMP, PMI-ACP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certifications. Experience with S / 4HANA migrations, SAP ECC transformations, and hybrid cloud strategies. Familiarity with tools such as SAP Solution Manager, SAP Cloud ALM, SAP Activate, and Azure / AWS migration tools. Preferred Qualifications : SAP certification(s) in one or more modules. Experience in Agile / DevOps delivery environments. Cloud certifications : AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, or GCP Cloud Architect. Exposure to industries like manufacturing, retail, or finance with complex SAP landscapes. Soft Skills : Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
