Nationwide Therapy Group is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Roseburg, Oregon.

Position : RN – ICU (Intensive Care Unit)

Schedule :

  • Shift : 12-hour Days (6 : 45 AM – 7 : 15 PM)
  • Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week
  • Contract Length : 63 weeks
  • Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend (EOW)
  • Holiday Requirement : 1 major and 1 minor holiday
  • Unit Details :

  • Unit Type : ICU
  • Beds : 16
  • Ratios : 1 : 2
  • EHR : Meditech
  • Scrub Colors : Black, cocoa brown, charcoal gray, navy blue, or khaki
  • Orientation : 2 shifts
  • Cancellation Policy :
  • Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment

  • 3 shifts for assignments less than 13 weeks
  • License & Certifications :

  • Required : ACLS, BLS (AHA)
  • BSN Required : No
  • License : Can apply with 90-day OR Emergency License (Oregon) — full license not required at submittal
  • Patient Population & Skills :

  • Common Diagnoses : Cardiac and respiratory cases
  • Required Experience : Acute Care and Critical Care
  • Drip Titration : Yes
  • Common Drips : Levophed, Propofol, Insulin, Dopamine, Neosynephrine, Precedex

  • Charge / House Supervisor : Yes, both present
  • Nurse Aides : None on unit
  • Hospitalist / Intensivist : In-house
  • Respiratory Therapy : RT in ICU 24 / 7
  • RT Equipment : Vents, CPAP, BiPAP (available)
  • Telemetry : RNs monitor and read strips (no monitor techs)
  • Additional Notes :

  • May be placed on call for low census; 30-minute response time from call to arrival if called in.
  • Floating : Contract RNs float first per ONA contract; facility strives for fair rotation.
