Overview
Digital Brew is an Emmy award-winning digital animation and video production studio in downtown Orlando FL. We specialize in animation, live action videos and hiring talented creatives who love making cool stuff. We work with brands including Amazon, Volvo, Cisco, 3M, AdventHealth, Associated Press, and Verizon.
We're looking for an in-house Vector Designer / Illustrator for Motion Graphics to join our team on a full-time contract-to-hire basis.
Responsibilities
- Vector illustrations and designs using Adobe Illustrator
- Visually convey a story or message through illustrations and design
- Join projects at varying phases of production and conceptualize a new design from scratch, then see it through to completion or complete an existing project
Note : This role focuses on storytelling through vector artwork; experience with logo, brochure, or menu design alone may not be a match.
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of experience using Adobe Illustrator to produce graphic designs and / or vector illustrations1+ year of experience designing for motion graphics (we may consider less with a strong portfolio)Advanced knowledge of Adobe Illustrator; familiarity with Photoshop or After Effects is a plusStrong character design and creation skillsExcellent understanding of composition, typography, and layoutBasic filmmaking principles knowledge (rule of thirds, 180-degree rule, jump cuts, etc.)Attention to detail in design, layout and typographyTeam-oriented and collaborative mindset; ability to work in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environmentDesire for human connection and being around peopleNote : You do not need to be able to animate to do this job; a basic understanding of filmmaking principles is helpfulAbout the work
