Position Summary :
We are seeking a seasoned and innovative Staff Electrical Engineer with 7 to 10 years of professional experience to lead and manage complex engineering projects. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and a track record of delivering reliable and efficient electrical solutions across multidisciplinary teams. The ideal candidate will play a key role in mentoring junior engineers and ensuring projects meet safety, cost and schedule objectives.
Key Responsibilities :
Design and implement advanced electrical systems for defense applications, including power distribution, embedded electronics, RF systems, control systems, and signal conditioning.
Perform engineering analyses, including load flow, power / signal integrity, thermal assessments, EMI / EMC compliance, and short-circuit and arc flash studies.
Work closely with mechanical, software, systems, and civil engineers to achieve seamless product integration.
Ensure all designs adhere to applicable military and industry standards (MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-704, MILSTD-810, NEC, NFPA 70E, IEEE, IPC).
Mentor and provide technical oversight to junior and mid-level engineers.
Contribute to project planning, scheduling, and cost estimating.
Develop, review, and validate engineering documentation to ensure traceability, accuracy, and alignment with program objectives.
Contribute / Lead troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution of technical issues during prototype and production phases.
