We're looking for a proactive Junior Accountant to support plant operations and corporate reporting for one of our valued clients in Tucker, GA. Key Responsibilities

• Core Accounting : Prepare and post journal entries; manage month-end close activities including accruals, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Inventory Accounting : Monitor and explain inventory variances; assist with quarterly physical counts and adjustments.
• Reporting : Ensure timely, accurate reporting to corporate (no direct SEC filings).
• Cross-Training & Coverage : Gain exposure to cost accounting, fixed assets, AP / AR, and payroll interfaces to provide continuity and coverage.
• Controls & Compliance : Maintain organized workpapers, uphold internal controls, and support SOX / GAAP compliance.
• Continuous Improvement : Identify process efficiencies and partner with operations to improve financial outcomes.
• Ad Hoc Support : Deliver analysis and special projects for plant leadership and corporate finance.

Qualifications
