The Role

We’re hiring a Senior Platform Engineer to design, build, and operate core services of Optura’s AI platform. You’ll own systems end-to-end—from model / agent orchestration and routing to reliability / observability—partnering with product and app teams to ship secure, scalable, HIPAA-aware services.

What you'll do

• Build the platform : services in Python / TypeScript for orchestration, routing / gateways, RAG, and eval pipelines
• Work smarter with AI : use Copilot / ChatGPT with tests, linters, benchmarks
• Ship to prod : own design → deploy; add SLOs, dashboards, runbooks
• Operate reliably : improve latency, cost, availability; incident response and postmortems
• AI in production : guardrails, prompt / version management, offline / online evals; multi-provider integration
• Data & storage : vector search (pgvector / Pinecone / OpenSearch), caching, Postgres / RDS
• Security & compliance : HIPAA best practices (RBAC, audit logs, least privilege, secrets); no training on PHI unless explicitly allowed

Python, TypeScript / Node, LangGraph / LangChain, AWS (EKS, ECS, Lambda, API Gateway, SQS / SNS, RDS, S3), Terraform, Redis, Postgres, vector DBs (pgvector / Pinecone / OpenSearch), OpenTelemetry, Cloudwatch, CI / CD (GitHub Actions).

Compensation : $104,000 - $222,000 + equity (varies by location / level)
