Boudreaux's New Drug Store will serve the patient-physician need by preparing CUSTOM FORMULATIONS. Upon physician request, medications will be prepared according to the patient's demographic and specific etiological requirements.

Areas of focus in pharmaceutical care will include but are not limited to, medication problem-solving, customized hormone replacement therapy for men and women, diabetes (shoe program), wound care, pain management, nutraceutical support, drug regimen reviews, and medication case management.

About the Role :

As a Pharmacist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications for patients across various healthcare settings. Your primary responsibility will be to evaluate and manage medication therapy, providing expert advice to healthcare professionals and patients alike. You will also be involved in pharmacoeconomic assessments to optimize medication costs while maintaining high-quality care. Additionally, you will educate patients on medication usage, potential side effects, and the importance of adherence to prescribed therapies. Ultimately, your expertise will contribute to improved patient outcomes and the overall efficiency of healthcare delivery.

Your clinical pharmacy skills will enable you to provide comprehensive medication reviews and collaborate with healthcare teams effectively. Manual dexterity is essential for accurately dispensing medications and performing immunizations. Patient counseling skills will be critical in educating patients about their medications, enhancing adherence, and addressing any concerns. Additionally, your knowledge of pharmacy benefit management will help navigate insurance processes to ensure patients receive their medications without unnecessary barriers.
