Prime Time Healthcare is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a travel job in Wichita, Kansas.

Job Description & Requirements

Job Duties :

  • Operate a GE 450 wide bore MRI scanner to perform a variety of imaging procedures including routine extremities, brain, spine (with and without contrast), abdomen , and MRI prostates .
  • Ensure safe and effective scanning practices in alignment with MRI safety protocols.
  • Independently manage workflow during the 3p–11p shift, which includes transporting patients to and from the MRI unit.
  • Prioritize outpatient exams (majority of caseload), with a smaller volume of inpatient and occasional ED exams.
  • Perform image quality checks and documentation using Meditech and FUJI PACS systems.
  • Maintain strong communication with radiologists and collaborate with a small team of MRI technologists.
  • Provide a professional and compassionate experience for patients, ensuring comfort and safety throughout the imaging process.

    • Qualifications :

  • ARRT (MRI) certification required.
  • Minimum 1 year of MRI experience in a clinical setting.
  • Experience with GE MRI systems highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding and adherence to MRI magnet safety protocols.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently on an evening shift.
  • Comfortable working in a smaller facility environment and being part of a tight-knit team .
  • Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor.
