Job Title : Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room Location : Memorial Hospital of Martinsville, Martinsville, VA Shift : 7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM Assignment Type : Travel Contract

Position Overview : Memorial Hospital of Martinsville is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse for a night shift travel assignment in the Emergency Room. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical judgment, the ability to work in high-pressure situations, and a commitment to delivering quality patient care.

Responsibilities :

  • Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department, including triage, assessment, and treatment
  • Respond to medical emergencies and initiate appropriate interventions
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
  • Administer medications and monitor patient responses
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care
  • Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and infection control standards

    • Qualifications :

  • Active RN license in Virginia or compact state
  • Minimum of 2 +years recent experience in Emergency Room nursing
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • TNCC and PALS preferred
  • Strong communication and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
