JOB DEFINITION :

To provided clinical leadership, supervision and coordination of nursing services within the Intensive Crisis Stabilization Center. To oversee nursing staff on shift, manage critical incidents, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to stabilize and support individuals in crisis, in addition to providing crisis services.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS :

Must be currently licensed as a Registered Nurse by the New York State Department of Education and possess a Bachelor's Degree and / or Master's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :

• Two (2) years of community mental health experience and / or mental health experience specifically working in psychiatric, behavioral health, or crisis stabilization settings.
• Previous experience working with children and adolescents, familiarity with emergency response protocols, and de-escalation techniques is highly preferred.
