Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A per diem opportunity is available for a Pharmacy Technician specializing in Long Term Care (LTC) and mail order pharmacy services. This position offers a 4.5-week contract with potential for extension, working evenings from 11am to 8pm, Monday through Friday, with possible weekend shifts.

Responsibilities include preparing prescriptions for LTC and mail order patients, ensuring accuracy in medication dispensing, and supporting the preparation of IV admixtures as needed. The role requires attention to detail in maintaining compliance with pharmacy regulations and delivering excellent service in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Key qualifications and experience :

• Proven experience as a Pharmacy Technician, preferably within long term care (LTC) and mail order settings
• Valid Indiana Pharmacy Technician license is required
• Skills in preparing IV admixtures are beneficial
• Ability to work effectively during evening shifts and occasional weekends
• Strong organizational skills and commitment to patient safety
