American Traveler is hiring a Vascular Ultrasound Technologist with at least one year of experience and current vascular certification for acute care assignments.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Position is based in a short-term acute care hospital with a Level II trauma designationDedicated vascular ultrasound role with no floating between units requiredPerforms approximately 8 vascular studies per dayDay shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 6 : 00 AM to 2 : 30 PMOn-call and weekend coverage are required, as neededExperience with transcranial doppler is preferredEpic EMR is used and experience is requiredResponsible for performing a variety of vascular ultrasound studies and related dutiesDepartment dress code requires solid navy blue scrubs for licensed staffAll travelers are expected to float between sister facilities nearby if requiredMust commit to working 3 out of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)Requested time off must be submitted up-front and may impact offerParking is free in designated employee and visitor lotsReturning staff policy requires a 3-month separation before being eligible to travel again with this clientOnline learning modules must be completed prior to start and annually\n \n Requirements\n
Minimum of 1 year of recent vascular ultrasound experienceVascular certification is requiredTranscranial doppler experience preferredCurrent state license required if applicableMust be able to work on-call and weekends as neededMust provide 2 supervisory references from the last 3 yearsEpic EMR experience requiredMust reside at least 50 miles from the facility for travel rate eligibilityReturning employees must wait at least 3 months before being eligible for rehire as a traveler\n Benefits\n
