Housekeeping Houseperson

The Housekeeping Houseperson supports the housekeeping team by maintaining cleanliness in public areas, assisting with guest requests, and ensuring that housekeeping supplies, linens, and equipment are available and ready for use. This role plays an important part in delivering a clean, welcoming, and comfortable environment for guests. Pay Rate $20.35 #towncountrySD.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and order in all public spaces, including hallways, restrooms, lobbies, and service areas
• Deliver linens, towels, and guest supplies to housekeeping attendants and guest rooms as needed
• Collect soiled linens and trash from designated areas and transport them to laundry or disposal locations
• Ensure housekeeping closets and storage areas are stocked, organized, and clean
• Assist with deep cleaning projects such as carpet shampooing, window washing, and furniture moving
• Respond promptly to guest requests or questions and provide courteous service
• Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damaged items to the housekeeping supervisor
• Follow hotel policies regarding health, safety, and sanitation
