Monitors, maintains, and troubleshoots the Laboratory computer system, other laboratory department specific computer systems, and any interfaces that may exist within and between these systems. Maintains precise files and records to assure accurate billing.
Required : Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical, Physical, or Biological Science or Medical Technology, from an accredited institution OR H.E.W. certification with 5 years of full-time clinical laboratory experience.
Will also consider Medical Laboratory Technician (ASCP) with four years of laboratory LIS experience.
Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment.
Preferred : Bachelor of Science or Associate Degree in Computer Sciences. Laboratory Information System experience, experience in extensive troubleshooting skills and ability to grasp computer concepts.
