Responsibilities Work in a Level I trauma center operating room with a 1 : 1 RN-to-patient ratio Patient population includes neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics Handles trauma, cardiothoracic, vascular, neuro / spine, orthopedic, general, gynecological, Da Vinci robotic, ENT, dental, plastics, maxillofacial, cystoscopy, urology, and pediatric procedures Utilizes Da Vinci Xi Surgical System and EPIC for charting Night shifts (4x10 hours) from 21 : 00 to 7 : 30 On-call required one shift per week No weekend or block scheduling Floating may be required within scope to meet facility needs Scrubs are provided Duties include circulating and supporting a variety of advanced surgical procedures in a high-acuity environment Exposure to emergency trauma cases and complex surgical interventions Work in a large Magnet-designated academic teaching hospital Modules to be completed during orientation and annually Fingerprinting required for certain Ohio specialty units Management approval required for more than 7 days of requested time off Must not have been employed as permanent staff within the last year Travel pairs accepted, but related candidates cannot work on the same unit Schedules can be adjusted with two weeks’ notice to maintain staffing balance Parking is free onsite Requirements Active OH or compact RN license required at time of submission Minimum 2 years of recent OR RN experience Current certifications : ACLS and BLS (AHA) Experience circulating in General OR cases required Experience with Da Vinci robotic, gynecological, and trauma procedures strongly preferred Must have previous charge nurse experience EPIC charting experience required Must provide two professional references from supervisors within the last 24 months Level 1 trauma experience preferred No first-time travelers; prior travel experience required Not accepting local candidates within 50 miles Pending licenses not accepted References and documentation must be current and complete for consideration Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-641413.
