Job descriptionManage a maximum of 9 scheduled cases per shift (3 during night shifts, 6 during day shifts), excluding unscheduled admissions. No outpatient / clinic duties required. Beds in Department : 12 LDR + 3 low-intervention midwifery rooms. Support Staff : Night Shifts : 56 RNs, 1 charge nurse, 2 triage RNs. Additional Support : OB assistants and surgical technicians (available both day and night). EMR System : Epic Board certification in OB / GYN (ABOG) is mandatory. BLS, ACLS, and ATLS certifications required. Prior hospitalist experience preferred but not required. Availability for weekday and weekend coverage. Competitive locum tenens compensation. Opportunity to work in a Level I Trauma and Level II Pediatric facility. Flexible scheduling options to accommodate full-time or part-time candidates. Credentialing support provided; estimated timeframe of 90 days. Supportive and collaborative team environment. Work in a facility equipped with 24 / 7 anesthesia, general surgery, radiology, and other specialty services. Serve a patient population with approximately 2,500 annual deliveries.

Shift Options :
12-hour shifts : 7 AM7 PM or 7 PM7 AM
- Weekend shifts : 6 AM3 PM, 2 PM11 PM, or 10 PM7 AM
- Opportunities for 24-hour coverage based on scheduling needs.
Responsibilities :
Cover inpatient OB as well as inpatient GYN consults on the floor and in the ER.
Practice Setting and Support
Day Shifts : 79 RNs, 1 charge nurse, 2 triage RNs.
