Job Summary :
The Line Filling Machine Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining filling line machinery used to fill containers with products such as liquids, creams, powders, or granules. This role ensures smooth operation of the production line while maintaining safety, quality, and efficiency standards.
Key Responsibilities :
Set up, operate, and monitor filling machines and related equipment on the production line.
Perform pre-operational checks on machinery and ensure all safety and quality standards are met.
Load materials and products into machines and make adjustments as necessary.
Monitor the production process, ensuring accurate fill levels, proper labeling, and packaging.
Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine issues or escalate to maintenance as needed.
Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of the machine and surrounding work area.
Complete production documentation and logs accurately and on time.
Maintain strict adherence to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), safety, and hygiene standards.
Work collaboratively with other team members and supervisors to meet production targets.
Report any quality deviations, equipment malfunctions, or safety hazards immediately.
Qualifications and Skills :
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment, especially with filling lines, is an asset.
Ability to operate machinery and use hand tools.
Good attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
Basic mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
Physically fit and able to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 kg, and perform repetitive tasks.
Willingness to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends or overtime when required.
Working Conditions :
Factory or production floor environment.
May be exposed to noise, dust, or chemicals depending on the industry.
Use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) is required.
