Accident / Health Insurance Counsel

Job Summary

Beacon Hill Legal is exclusively partnering with a well-respected insurance company is seeking a senior level attorney for an Assistant General Counsel role. Qualified candidate will have with experience supporting Accident & Health insurance business to join their general counsel's office. This role will be responsible for :

• Providing legal advice regarding all aspects of various accident & health insurance and reinsurance products, including policy and contract construction, program structure, collateral requirements, and coverage considerations
• Analyzing and identifying various sources of risk that can arise in a commercial insurance program, particularly with respect to accident & health business
• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a broad array of contracts and representing the company's interests in insurance-related negotiations and transactions

Qualified candidates will have 10+ years of experience with preferred experience in-house, and have supported accident and health insurance products before and MUST have advised on employer stop loss policies.
