- Develop and implement frameworks for financial oversight, human resources, and administrative processes.
- Lead strategic engagement initiatives, including external communications and stakeholder relations, to advance organizational goals.
- Oversee the identification and resolution of bottlenecks within approval and decision-making processes.
- Conduct gap analyses to pinpoint pain points in organizational systems and recommend actionable improvements.
- Support the development of policies and procedures that align with strategic priorities and operational needs.
- Provide expert guidance on organizational leadership, ensuring alignment with long-term objectives.
- Facilitate network engagement and convenings to strengthen partnerships and collaborative efforts.
- Proven experience in organizational leadership, with a focus on higher education or similar industries.
- Strong background in strategic planning, including the ability to assess and build operational frameworks.
- Expertise in financial oversight, human resources, and administrative management.
- Demonstrated ability to supervise and coach staff effectively, fostering a positive team environment.
- Excellent communication skills, with experience in external affairs and stakeholder engagement.
- Proficiency in conducting gap analyses and implementing organizational improvements.
- Familiarity with designing and implementing organizational policies and procedures.
- Ability to work on-site in Lansing, Michigan, with flexibility for hybrid arrangements as needed.
