Responsibilities

• Directs, plans, organizes, and evaluates the Labor and Delivery and PNU Departments.
• Ensures departments comply with hospital and medical staff standards set forth by regulatory organizations (State, TJC, CMS, AHCA, etc.).
• Integrates activities into the overall hospital organization.
• Ensures a smooth and effective operations by coordinating patient services, aligning program activities with hospital administration, and overseeing budget and marketing functions.
• Oversee staff performance and ensure the completion of departmental responsibilities in alignment with corporate, hospital, departmental, and safety policies, meeting both company and regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Current Florida license as Registered Nurse or Recognized Compact Licensure (subject to Florida State Licensing Requirements, including/not limited to, ongoing eligibility and duration provisions)
• Graduated from an accredited School of Nursing
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Current Neonate Resuscitation (NRP) certification or must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• Current STABLE certification or must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date
• Current Intermediate Fetal Monitoring or Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification or must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date
• Must have min 1 yr L&D Manager experience
