Job Title : Senior Product Owner - Data & Digital Solutions

Locations : Pittsburgh, PA | Lake Mary, FL | Washington, D.C.

We are seeking a Senior Product Owner with deep experience in strategic product management, data-centric systems, and agile delivery. In this role, you'll drive the roadmap, execution, and evolution of data-driven products supporting high-impact business and technology initiatives. The ideal candidate blends strong technical understanding with business acumen, guiding product teams to deliver innovative, secure, and high-quality digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Own the product backlog and near-term roadmap, ensuring all items are properly refined, prioritized, and aligned with business goals. Lead Agile ceremonies across the product team (POD), tracking velocity and identifying process efficiencies. Drive feature definition and user story creation, collaborating closely with data engineers, managers, and stakeholders. Manage technical design decisions, monitor product performance, and track key product metrics. Formulate and analyze business and user insights to inform roadmap prioritization. Translate customer needs into actionable product requirements and collaborate with UX / design teams to develop prototypes and solutions. Partner with leadership to define strategic goals, tradeoffs, and near-term product plans. Ensure strong alignment with security, compliance, and AI governance requirements. May serve in a dual role supporting project management or Scrum leadership duties. Maintain comprehensive documentation across product lifecycle activities.

To Be Successful in This Role

You'll bring a higher level of product ownership expertise, overseeing multiple product lines, mentoring junior product owners, and ensuring disciplined execution from concept to release. You are proactive in gathering customer insights, navigating technical complexity, and balancing strategic tradeoffs to maximize user and business value.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Computer Science, or related discipline (or equivalent experience). Senior-level experience in product ownership or management, particularly for data-intensive or digital platforms. Strong ability to write and manage complex user stories and acceptance criteria. Experience with data modeling, validation, and governance. Familiarity with testing, cybersecurity, and compliance needs in enterprise systems. Understanding of AI-driven product management and ability to leverage AI tools for prototyping or analysis. Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills. Previous experience building digital products within an Agile framework. Experience with project or program management practices.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with government agencies or in financial services. Knowledge of cybersecurity or information security applications. Familiarity with data privacy standards such as HIPAA or financial compliance frameworks. Exposure to AI-assisted tools.

Technical Proficiencies

Required Tools : Data modeling and testing tools, Microsoft Office Suite. Preferred Tools : Familiarity with AI-integrated product management platforms or prototyping systems.

Certifications

Bachelor's degree (required). Project Management or Product Owner certification (preferred).
