Travel Nursing Job Details

Location : Hermiston, Oregon 97838 – Ideal for nurses seeking Oregon healthcare jobs in a friendly small-town setting.

Facility : Med / Surg Department, new hospital with advanced medical technology

Assignment Length : 13-week travel nursing contract

Start Date : November 3, 2025

End Date : February 2, 2026

Shift : Day Shift – 12-hour shifts, three shifts per week (including every other weekend)

Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week

Estimated Weekly Pay : $2030–$2180

Employment Type : Travel Registered Nurse (RN)

Med / Surg RN Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Oregon nursing jobs require current state licensure

Minimum 3 years of clinical nursing experience (Med / Surg experience strongly preferred)

Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications

Ability to work independently and provide clinical support with minimal supervision

Willingness to float to other qualified hospital departments as needed

Med / Surg Nurse Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality patient care to adult and pediatric populations in the Med / Surg unit

Collaborate with fellow nurses and full-time Hospitalist physicians

Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare standards

Provide compassionate support, education, and clinical guidance to patients and families

Adapt to floating assignments within the hospital based on qualifications and staffing needs
