RICHARD is currently looking for a Field Contracts Administrator Specialist for a project in Destrehan, Louisiana. Work will be performed at the Destrehan job site. The Contracts Administrator Specialist will be responsible for "cradle-to-grave" contract formation and administration, including issuance and administration of Request For Proposals (RFPs), managing contract change requests, review and approval of change orders, and contract invoicing through close-out.
Job Requirements
Must Haves :
- Extensive experience in contract / subcontract administration within heavy industrial construction
- Experience developing scopes of work, assembling bid documents for RFPs, communicating with bidders, and managing subcontractors
- Ability to interpret complex commercial, legal, and construction contracts
- Strong attention to detail and prioritization skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to perform in a construction environment, including job walks and communication with contractors and field teams
Responsibilities :
Collaborate with Contractors, Construction Management, and the OwnerDevelop Scopes of Work (SOW) for contracts in coordination with the Project TeamAssist in preparing bid documents and issuing RFP packagesManage communication with bidders and conduct Pre-Bid MeetingsAnalyze bids and make recommendationsEnsure all contractor mobilization and onboarding documentation is completeConduct Contract Kick-Off MeetingsMaintain organized records of all RFP and contract documentsCoordinate weekly contractor meetings and monitor performanceReview and process contractor change requests and invoicesLead contract turnover and close-out proceduresRICHARD is committed to providing a SAFE and Drug-Free environment and is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EEO)
