Anchor Bar Restaurant : Hiring for Line Cooks

  • Pay Rate : $13.00 per hour - $15.00 per hour
  • Reports to : General Manager & Assistant Managers

Responsibilities :

  • Prepare a variety of wings, pizzas, sandwiches, poultry, vegetables, and other food items using fryers, broilers, ovens, grills, stovetops, and other kitchen equipment.
  • Communicate effectively with all kitchen team members to ensure fresh, hot menu items are prepared and served promptly.
  • Take full responsibility (100%) for the quality of products served.
  • Consistently follow Anchor Bar's standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards, and kitchen policies and procedures.
  • Stock and maintain sufficient levels of food products to ensure smooth service operations.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation, including tables, shelves, ovens, stovetops, refrigeration equipment, slicers, mixers, and other kitchen tools.
  • Properly prep ingredients according to the Prep Appendix for use in menu item preparation.
  • Prepare menu items accurately following the Recipes Appendix.
  • Ensure proper plate presentation and garnish setup for all dishes.
  • Handle, store, and rotate all products correctly to maintain food safety and quality.
  • Assist with food preparation during off-peak periods as needed.
  • Follow the kitchen closing checklist and assist others in properly closing kitchen stations.
  • Attend all scheduled team member meetings and contribute suggestions for improvement.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the manager-on-duty.
