We have an immediate opportunity for an AWS Architect to join our client, Infosys , on a hybrid assignment based in Irvine, California . This role calls for an experienced cloud professional capable of designing and implementing scalable, secure, and highly available solutions within the AWS ecosystem. Candidates must be U.S. Citizens or Green Card holders and should be available to work on-site part of the week as required.

The selected consultant will be responsible for architecting AWS cloud environments in alignment with both business and technical goals. The role requires hands-on expertise with AWS services including S3, RDS, EC2, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, and CloudTrail , as well as experience designing high-performance database and infrastructure architectures. The ideal candidate will be adept at evaluating existing environments and developing modernization and migration strategies using AWS-native tools and best practices.

To be successful in this position, one needs to be a strategic thinker with strong technical depth in cloud architecture, database optimization, and automation . The role involves close collaboration with application, DevOps, and cloud engineering teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of solutions. Additionally, the architect will provide mentorship to junior engineers, review technical documentation, and implement standards for performance, security, backup, and disaster recovery.
