Director of Talent Acquisition
The Director of Talent Acquisition leads the strategy, execution, and results of the organization’s recruiting function. This role manages Talent Acquisition Managers and recruiting teams, ensuring consistent delivery of qualified talent, strong partnerships with hiring leaders, and effective use of external staffing resources. The Director drives recruiting performance, improves processes, and ensures the organization meets its workforce and growth goals.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead and coach recruiting teams to meet hiring targets and fill roles quickly with high-quality candidates.
- Develop and execute recruiting strategies that support business needs and workforce plans.
- Oversee day-to-day recruiting operations to ensure smooth, consistent, and timely hiring.
- Manage the relationship with the organization’s contracted employee agencies, including performance, contracts, and service levels.
- Track and report key recruiting metrics (time-to-fill, pipeline health, quality of hire, agency usage, .
- Partner closely with executives and hiring managers to understand talent needs and build effective sourcing plans.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and industry standards.
- Improve recruiting processes, tools, and systems to increase efficiency and hiring speed.
- Develop and manage recruiting budgets, staffing forecasts, and agency spend.
- Resolve escalated hiring challenges and ensure strong hiring manager and candidate experiences.
- Represent the talent acquisition function in leadership meetings and provide hiring updates and recommendations.

Qualifications
Physical and Mental Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire, and motivate large, diverse teams.
- Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level presentations.
- Ability to travel as needed between divisions/branches and to industry or executive meetings.
- Capable of managing multiple complex priorities and projects simultaneously.
Education, Certification, License, and Skill Requirements
- High School Diploma required, Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree (MBA or related field) strongly preferred.
- Minimum of five (5) years of progressive management experience, including significant multi-site or multi-division leadership.
- Experience in telecommunications, construction, or a related technical field preferred.
- Proven track record in executive leadership, financial management, organizational development, and strategic planning.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and enterprise management systems.
- Must meet company driving standards (if applicable).
