We are currently seeking dynamic and well-qualified candidate for a Contract Administrator re-certification role in our Business Development Division. This position performs professional and administrative duties in the development, coordination, and maintenance of contracts.
This position performs professional and administrative duties in reviewing of certified firms applicatons, legal documents, and conducting site visits and / or interviews the development, coordination and maintenance of certification applications. Duties are performed under the general supervision of the assigned supervisor who reviews performance through conferences and analyses of completed assignments.

Representative Duties / Assignments
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Business Administration, Public Administration or a closely related field and two years of experience preparing and / or monitoring contracts. Work experience in a closely related field may be substituted for the required degree on a year-for-year basis.
Preferences
Experience preparing and / or monitoring contracts in the public sector.
Experience reviewing and evaluating re-certification applications through desk audits and online tools to ensure compliance with M / WBE criteria.
Experience conducting site visits; creating detailed reports for re-certification applications; report writing, Entrepreneurial compliance; and / or providing guidance to entrepreneurs by interpreting policies.
Exceptional Organizational Skills : Demonstrate the ability to manage multiple re-certification files simultaneously, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with required documentation standards.
Strong Time Management Abilities : Proven capability to prioritize tasks effectively, meet strict deadlines, and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Multi-Tasking proficiency : Ability to handle various project or re-certification applications at different stages of review without compromising attention to detail.
Attention to Detail : Impeccable accuracy in data entry, review of legal / business documents, and reporting is critical.
Communication Skills : Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills are essential for corresponding with vendors, stakeholders, and internal team members.
Analytical Thinking : Ability to assess documentation for completeness and compliance with M / WBE requirements and policies.
Tech-Savvy : Comfortable using document management systems, spreadsheets, and M / WBE certification platforms or databases.
Experience in Certification : Prior experience with M / WBE certification processes, or contract administration is highly desirable.
Discretion & Confidentiality : Ability to exercise sound judgement when handling sensitive business and personal information submitted by applicants.
