Shift : rotating weekends and holidays with ability to float to Cranberry Passavant on a limited basis (up to 40%)
As a Radiologic Technologist (Diagnostic, X-Ray Tech), you will perform imaging procedures independently, demonstrating proficiency in various technical tasks related to diagnostic radiography. Your responsibilities include :
Accurately identify patients using two identifiers and adhere to universal protocols during procedures.
Administer oral (PO) and rectal contrast as per physician orders and department policies.
Perform diagnostic radiography procedures using established protocols without constant supervision.
Interact effectively with patients and co-workers, demonstrating empathy, respect, and active listening.
Adjust protocols based on independent judgment to apply ionizing radiation appropriately.
Clearly communicate instructions to patients, allaying fears and ensuring cooperation during procedures
Qualifications - Internal
Graduate of an ARRT approved school of Radiologic Technology or verification from ARRT approved school of completion of program and scheduled graduation date. Technologists hired before graduation will have indirect supervision by an ARRT certified diagnostic technologist until the degree is verified.
Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances :
ARRT Registry eligible as a Radiologic Technologist. Must obtain radiography registry within 6 months of hire date as of January 1, 2025. Diagnostic Technologists hired prior to January 1, 2025, will need to obtain their registry within 12 months of hire / transfer date. CPR or BLS Required. CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire

Technologist cannot work in an outpatient setting until ARRT has been obtained.
