Job Title : Staff Accountant / HR Analyst
Department : Accounting

Job Summary
This role is responsible for processing the bi-weekly payroll, maintaining payroll records, and assisting with employee benefit transactions. This role supports the month-end and year-end closing processes, assists with audits, and ensures compliance with company policies and accounting principles. The Staff Accountant is responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring the accuracy of accounting transactions.
Responsibilities :
- Prepare Payroll processing, PTO accruals & payouts
- Prepare documentation for compliance filings
- Prepare and post journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals
- Reconcile bank statements and GL accounts
- Supports accounts payable & premium receivable function
- Verify timekeeping records & other compensation adjustments
- Assist with HR administration & compliance
- Assist with month-end & year-end close process
- Ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements
Qualifications :
A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent1 – 3 years of accounting experienceUnderstanding of GAAP and general accounting principlesExperience with Microsoft software systems (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)Detail oriented with strong organizational skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to maintain confidentialityAccounting software experience & ability to test systems and procedures for accuracyPreferred Qualifications / Experience :
