Job : Advisor, Clinical Standards - Shared Clinical Services
Reports to : Director, Nursing Practice and Improvement
Reporting to the Director of Nursing Practice and Improvement, this position has the responsibility for clinical training and safety compliance for their assigned markets. The incumbentwill work closely with the Director to support the centers and drive outcomes.
Duties / Responsibilities :
- Support 10-15 centers as their main clinical resource
- Collaborate with Center Managers, Market Launch / Support Teams, and Operations to onboard MA's, travel to centers to complete onboarding, site visits, training, and support
- Travel to centers to audit, assist with skills training
- Provide specialized training, including LS, ALICE, Verbal Judo
- Participate in the creation of annual clinical competency, including creating content and completing training
- Ensure lab safety and compliance in their assigned centers
- Complete monthly auditing
- Participate in creating and completing audits
- Collaborate with the Providers and Center Manager to identify opportunities to improve clinical performance of back-office personnel and functions. Develop, implement, and monitor the effectiveness of performance improvement activities.
- Maintain current knowledge of state regulations for nursing, medicine, and pharmacy as it relates to scope of practice for back-office personnel.
- Identify and provide appropriate resources to educate patients and staff members on clinical conditions and processes.
- Communicate effectively in all areas of practice, including how to motivate, and engage colleagues around a common goal.
- Ensure that clinical processes, policies, and procedures are adhered to. Serve as a resource for staff.
Required Skills / Abilities :
Strong knowledge of healthcare functions, including clinical functions, safety processes, reimbursement practices, and quality improvement initiativesThorough, in-depth knowledge of clinical procedures, legal rules and regulations and best practices in healthcareSkilled in observation, training and evaluating clinical / patient care competenciesMust possess a high degree of emotional intelligence and integrity, driven and focused work ethicContinuous desire to learn and embrace new methods; ability to adapt and be resilient.Self-starter with the ability to think creatively and work effectivelyAbility to build a relationship and work effectively with various seniorities and diverse populations including staff, providers, members, and family membersWillingness and ability to travel, up to 50%Education and Experience :
AA / AS degree in Nursing required; BA / BS degree in Nursing (BSN) or Healthcare Administration preferredA valid, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in state(s) of employment requiredA minimum of 5 years', current direct nursing / medical work experience requiredWork in a community-based clinic, public health department or specialization with the senior population preferredBLS certification for healthcare providers requiredMentorship and team-development experience, particularly across multiple functional areasKnowledge of adult learning strategies preferredProblem-solving orientation and eagerness to identify process gaps and implement practical solutions in a matrixed organizationProficient PC skillsFluency in Spanish or other languages spoken by people in the communities we serve is desirable, but not requiredArchWell Health is an equal opportunity employer.
