Job Description
Job Summary : We are seeking a Lead Automation resource with deep expertise in Ansible to support code migration, automation onboarding, and infrastructure integration. This role will lead efforts to transition legacy automation systems to Azure DevOps, guide teams through AWX onboarding, and ensure operational readiness across environments. The ideal candidate will be highly collaborative, technically proficient, and capable of mentoring teams in automation best practices.
Responsibilities
Lead and support migration of automation code from legacy systems (TFS) to Azure DevOps (ADOS).Guide teams through Ansible playbook linting, onboarding, and testing in AWX across environments.Troubleshoot automation issues and support code cleanup and refactoring.Develop scripts / tools to streamline standardization tasks.Provide hands-on training and mentorship to teams new to AWX.Create demos, documentation, and support materials to build team autonomy.Coordinate with infrastructure and security teams to ensure compliance.Track progress across teams and manage onboarding timelines.Ensure all technical processes are well-documented for operational readiness.Required Qualifications
2+ years of experience in Ansible (playbook creation, linting, testing) and AWX / Tower.Experience onboarding teams to Ansible platforms.Strong experience with Azure DevOps (ADOS), including repository management and access control.Skilled in code migration and automation pipeline setup, especially from legacy systems like TFS.2+ years of experience in scripting and automation tooling (e.g., Python, Bash).Familiarity with CI / CD workflows, version control, and infrastructure-as-code principles.Strong documentation and training skills to scale AWX knowledge across teams.J-18808-Ljbffr
