NMSI's mission is to advance education to ensure that all students, especially those furthest from opportunity, thrive and reach their highest potential as problem solvers and lifelong learners who pursue their passions and tackle the world's toughest challenges. NMSI is seeking highly successful K-12 teachers,instructional coaches, and school leaders inspired by this mission to become our nationally recognized coach corps members. (This is a Temporary Part-time role).

NMSI Coaches are passionate educators who strive to learn from others, enjoy supporting teachers, and work to build more equitable opportunities for students in their school communities. NMSI Coaches support our core programs which includethe College Readiness Program (Grades 9-12 APTeachers and APStudents),Laying the Foundation (K-12 Teachers),and Leadership Development (K-12 school and district leaders), by delivering professional development for teachers or content support for students.

NMSI Coaches work with teachers and their students in online and face-to-face settings to improve teacher impact and student achievement in Math, Science, and English classrooms.

Although NMSI's coaches are not school based, they effectively support NMSI's teachers in the College Readiness Program (CRP) and Laying the Foundation (LTF) program through the following roles :

The minimum hourly rate for this position will be at least $30 / hour .We take pay equity seriously and work hard to ensure our team members are paid fairly no matter their gender, race, or other demographic backgrounds. Part-time staff are eligible to participate in 401(k) after 90 days of employment, with up to a 6% employee match, fully vested on day one of participation in the plan. NMSI Coaches are provided ongoing opportunities to continue their professional learning through participation in our Coach Development Pathways.
