Key Responsibilities
- Welcome patients in a friendly and professional manner.
- Manage efficient check-in and check-out processes for patients.
- Verify and update patient demographics and insurance information.
- Schedule appointments and maintain accurate records in the system.
- Address patient inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure overall satisfaction.
- Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate patient care.
- Support additional administrative duties as needed.
- Proven experience in patient registration, scheduling, or related healthcare roles.
- Strong customer service and communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare teams.
- Familiarity with insurance verification processes and healthcare reimbursement procedures.
- Proficiency in using online systems and applications for scheduling and financial recordkeeping.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and policies, including Red Flag procedures.
- Bilingual skills, especially in Spanish, are highly desirable.
- Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and handling sensitive information appropriately.
