Description :

This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in the PCU.

The shift is 3 days per week, nights from 6 : 45 PM to 7 : 15 AM.

The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1 : 5.

First-time travelers are accepted.

Holiday shifts and Charge Nurse assignments may be required based on unit needs.

Weekend shifts require 8 shifts in a 6-week schedule, a combination of Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

The clinician will float within the scope to meet facility needs.

The position will float between approximately 5 units in Med / Surg Intermediate / PCU departments and other campuses as needed.

Certifications required include BLS and NIHSS, with ACLS preferred.

Nurses will need to have experience in MS / Tele, Telemetry, Cardiac Telemetry, and Neuro Stepdown settings.

Skills required include accessing and managingports, blood product administration, interpretation of dysrhythmias, and telemetry monitoring.

Floating may be required between departments and units as needed.

References will be required from past supervisors and charge nurses.

Candidates must complete drug screening and labs within specified timelines.
