United is seeking Commercial HVAC Service Technicians to join our team. This role will be responsible for all aspects of the installation, maintenance, inspection, operation, and repair of the HVAC systems in commercial properties all throughout the KC Metro area.

Starting rate of pay depends on skillset and level of experience, and could be higher or lower than rate listed.

Job responsibilities :

Travel to various properties in a company van to carry out your jobs in a timely manner

Troubleshoot and repair HVAC mechanical issues

Perform routine preventative maintenance

Communicate in a professional manner to customers, peers, and management

Complete accurate electronic job tickets and related documentation

Accurate and timely entry of hours worked each day

Consistently exhibit safe driving habits, following all state and federal traffic laws

Operate and maintain an organized and well-invented vehicle

Adhere to current HVAC rules and regulations

Adhere to the highest standards of quality

Proper use of Tools and Equipment

Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications :

Minimum of 3 years working technical or trade HVAC experience

Working knowledge of electronic wiring diagrams and schematics

Excellent interpersonal communication skills on a technical level

Able to work both independently and as part of a team

Current MO or KS driver's license and insurable driving record

Able to tolerate extreme temperatures for extended periods of time

Able to continually push, pull, lift, grasp, hold, carry, reach, reach above the shoulders, stoop, bend at the waist, bend at the knee, kneel, bend side to side, crouch, stand on step stools or small ladders and balance.

Work safely following company policies

Must have reliable transportation

Ability to pass drug screen, physical exam, background check, and POET.

Employee must be in good standing at time of payouts to receive Sign-On Bonus. The $5,000 bonus is payable in 3 increments : at 90 days, at 6 months, and then at 1 year of continuous employment (applicable only to new hires).
