Nurse Practitioner or Physician's Assistant

• Current Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant licensure in the State of Oklahoma required.
• Experience in various clinical settings preferred, but new grads welcome.
• Previous work history that demonstrates steady and punctuality is required.
• Elicits health history appropriate for type of visit, i.e. wellness, chronic care, acute care, follow-up, counseling.
• History includes history of present illness, history of previous illness and / or surgeries, review of systems, family and social history.
• History includes evaluation of development, maturation, coping ability, activities of daily living, emotional and social well-being as appropriate.
• Physical examination is appropriate for age, gender and type of visit.
• Physical examination is comprehensive and appropriate for presenting problem and routine screening.
• Physical examination is documented appropriately.
• Diagnostic tests are appropriate for the evaluation being performed.
• Results are documented in the medical record.
• Appropriate action is taken and documented based on the results of the diagnostic test, i.e. referral, treatment, teaching, further evaluation, etc.
• The patient is informed of diagnostic test results.
• Demonstrates ability to be flexible and organized; demonstrates ability to function well under stressful situation.
• Displays courtesy and caring attitude toward patient and visitors.
• Develops and implements, with the individual and / or family, a plan of care to promote, maintain and restore health based on current standards of care.
