About The Position
Weekly Pay $51.67 / hour - Occupational Therapist at Providence Swedish Rehab Hospital
- Provide comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for adult and geriatric patients.
- Deliver therapeutic interventions to enhance patient independence in daily living activities, mobility, and safety.
- Regularly reassess patient progress and update treatment plans as necessary.
- Educate patients, caregivers, and clinical staff on therapy goals, techniques, and home programs.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including physical therapists, speech therapists, nurses, and physicians.
- Supervise and support Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs), therapy techs, and students as appropriate.
- Adhere to hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory guidelines.
- Manage a daily caseload of 4 5 patients, aiming for 6 hours of direct treatment time per day.
- Work in a 40-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital serving patients with neurological injuries, orthopedic trauma, stroke, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, and complex medical conditions.
- Flexible scheduling, including PRN / per diem and full-time opportunities; day shifts with optional weekends.
- No on-call or float requirements; free on-site parking provided.
- Requires active OT license in Washington and current CPR / BLS certification; minimum 2 years experience in acute rehab or acute care
- Strong clinical, documentation, and communication skills essential; ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative, patient-centered team.
