Description

The successful candidate will develop an understanding of our standard processes and interconnect structures to assist with troubleshooting and FA of unit processes and / or completed interconnects. This position supports both externally and internally funded projects and may also involve other thin film / material characterization activities.

  • Hands-on engineering resource for SEM / EDS analysis and sample preparation.
  • Communicate results and concerns in a collaborative, data-driven environment.
  • Accurately record and report data.
  • Assist with standard troubleshooting protocols of Micross AIT processes.

  • Job Qualifications

  • US citizenship or permanent resident status is required.
  • A B.S., M.S., or PhD in physical science or engineering with experience in thin film / material characterization using SEM.
  • Knowledge of wafer processes and basic device processing.
  • Experience with metrology measurements, data recording, and presentation (PowerPoint) is a plus.

  • Excellent hands-on laboratory skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to collect and analyze data.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to generate reports.
  • Strong analytical skills.
