About Us

Totus is the modern gift card platform built for brands. We're rethinking gift cards from the ground up. We provide brands with a powerful, tech-driven platform that simplifies issuance, distribution, and financial operations - transforming gift cards from an operational burden into a strategic growth tool. Backed by automation, data, and scale, Totus helps brands unlock new revenue streams while delivering better experiences for their customers.

We are a fast-growing platform built by people who value efficiency, creativity, and impact. If you thrive in environments where you can shape processes, delight clients, and see the direct impact of your work, you will fit right in.

About The Role

We're hiring a Product Manager - Applied AI to join our collaborative product team and help bring our AI-first development approach to life.

In this role, you will partner closely with engineers to define, prioritize, and deliver initiatives that improve the speed, quality, and reliability of our AI-enhanced development efforts. You'll help co-own a slice of our roadmap alongside other PMs and take on responsibilities in high-priority technical and infrastructure areas. You'll also flex into broader product work during peak cycles or to cover for team absences.

This is not a solo act. You'll work in tandem with other PMs, supporting shared roadmap areas while driving forward AI tooling and developer-focused features across the business.

What You'll Do

  • Partner Integrations : building and maintaining integrations with processors and eCommerce platforms
  • Integrations & Processing Data Quality : ensuring accuracy, reliability, and scalability in partner and transaction data flows
  • Promotion & Expiration Expansion : defining and enhancing functionality for managing promotional rules and card expiration logic
  • Incremental Data Collection Integrations : enabling ingestion of new, high-value data sources to power advanced reporting capabilities
  • On-Demand Reporting Portal : enabling brands, internal teams, and partners with flexible, self-service reporting capabilities
  • Brand Documentation Portal : improving the accessibility and usability of brand-facing documentation
  • Security & Compliance : partnering with engineering and other functional teams to align with requirements such as SOC 2 Type II and other compliance frameworks
  • Marketing Support : collaborating on tools for buyer lead generation, deal management, and campaign tracking

In addition, you will :

  • Write clear product specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria that drive measurable outcomes
  • Help develop and improve a new spec-driven development process, possibly using GitHub's Spec Kit and similar tools
  • Participate in AI Agent development by selecting ML models, writing prompt instructions, defining knowledge base sources for Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and identify existing or write requirements for MCP server tools for the agent to use
  • Co-own the product roadmap with fellow PMs, aligning on shared priorities and execution
  • Flex into other product areas during peak development periods or to cover for teammates
  • Example projects you might work on :

  • Integrating AI-powered tools (e.g. Microsoft Copilot) into workflows to solve customer needs
  • Utilize AI to create and refine Brand integration documentation
  • Write requirements for a new processor integration that will utilize AI to write the integration code.
  • Prototyping AI internal tools that automate data quality issues
  • Qualifications

    Required :

  • 3–7 years of experience in a technical product management role
  • Experience with developer platforms, integrations, or data infrastructure
  • Familiarity with modern engineering practices (GitHub, CI / CD, REST APIs)
  • Comfort collaborating on AI / ML-driven product workflows (not necessarily deep ML expertise)
  • Excellent facilitation, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills
  • Adaptability and eagerness to operate in a fast-moving, AI-evolving environment
  • Bonus :

  • Experience with AI code tools like Microsoft Copilot, Github Copilot, Codium, or Sourcegraph Cody
  • Background in engineering, data, or developer enablement roles
  • Familiarity with AI governance, hallucination prevention, or model evaluation
  • Exposure to gift card, payments, or financial platform environments
  • What We Offer

  • A high-impact role at a company combining fintech, retail, and AI
  • Smart, motivated teammates solving real, unsolved problems
  • Competitive compensation and equity
  • Flexible, remote-optional work environment
  • The opportunity to apply AI safely and meaningfully across a platform
