Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Personal Injury Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for representing clients who have suffered injuries due to the negligence of others, ensuring they receive the compensation they deserve. The role involves managing a caseload, conducting legal research, and advocating for clients in negotiations and trials.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and evaluate client cases to determine their validity and potential for success.
- Conduct thorough legal research and prepare legal documents including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
- Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and opposing counsel to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
- Represent clients in court, presenting evidence and arguments in support of their claims during trial.
- Provide expert legal advice and counseling to clients throughout the legal process.
- Prepare and manage all trial preparation activities, including witness interviews and evidence organization.
- Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations affecting personal injury claims.
Qualifications
- Jurisdiction-specific law degree and admission to the bar as a licensed attorney.
- Proven experience in personal injury law and litigation.
- Strong skills in legal writing and analysis.
- Excellent negotiation and mediation skills.
- Ability to handle complex cases involving various areas of law, such as contract law, civil law, and corporate law.
- Experience in trial preparation and courtroom representation.
- Strong client counseling and communication skills.
Salary: $145,000 - $150,000
