Sr. SAP Analyst - PP / QM
Position Summary
Our company is driving a significant business transformation by upgrading our legacy ERP systems and expanding our SAP capabilities. This multi-year, global initiative will leverage our internal SAP teams to implement SAP S / 4HANA across multiple manufacturing sites. To support this strategic effort, we are actively seeking a Senior SAP Analyst to play a crucial role in both the delivery of new S / 4HANA projects and the support of our existing SAP landscape.
As our Senior SAP Analyst for Production Planning and Quality Management (PP / QM), you will be a hands-on leader in deploying and maintaining our SAP solutions. Your expertise will be instrumental in enhancing our supply chain, manufacturing, and quality management processes, ensuring they are streamlined and aligned with plant operations. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 10 years of direct SAP experience and a comprehensive understanding of manufacturing environments and best practices.
Essential Responsibilities
- Serve as a cross-functional subject matter expert and technical consultant throughout the project lifecycle.
- Lead requirements gathering, hands-on SAP configuration, functional specification development for custom objects, testing, and go-live support for new and modified SAP solutions.
- Facilitate and lead end-to-end design workshops, guiding business users on best practices and transforming business processes through expert advice.
- Assume project management responsibilities as needed to ensure milestones are met.
- Organize and direct the work of team members and consultants for both project delivery and ongoing support activities.
- Manage key integration points between procurement, supply chain, manufacturing, and quality modules, as well as interfaces with external systems.
- Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to ensure successful outcomes.
- Architect and recommend scalable, long-term SAP solutions that align with business goals.
- Contribute to and support global IT projects within the SAP ecosystem.
- Develop comprehensive training documentation, process flows, and user guides; deliver training to key stakeholders and end-users.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with business stakeholders to ensure solutions meet their evolving needs.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Position Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.A minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience designing, implementing, and supporting SAP PP / QM solutions.Hands-on experience with SAP Warehouse Management (WM) is a significant advantage.Proven experience with at least five full-cycle SAP implementation projects.Demonstrated expertise in hands-on SAP configuration for manufacturing and quality processes.In-depth knowledge of demand planning, MRP, batch management, serialization, in-house manufacturing, and subcontracting processes.Strong understanding of integration points with other SAP modules, including MM, WM, FI, CO, and SD.Expertise required in QM master data, quality planning, inspection processes, notifications, certificates, supplier quality management, and batch management.Familiarity with SOX compliance requirements.Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and integrity.Willingness and ability to travel up to 10% as required for project workshops, training, or team meetings.This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
