We’re growing and looking for Paratransit Drivers to join our team. Whether full-time or part-time, you’ll be part of a company that values your skills, professionalism, and commitment to patient care.
Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service to participants, their families, facilities, and the public.
- Safely operate and maintain company vehicles and equipment in compliance with all laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Assist participants, including those using wheelchairs, walkers, or other mobility devices, with safe boarding and exiting.
- Complete required documentation accurately and on time using electronic systems.
- Maintain a clean, professional workspace, including vehicles and facilities.
- Communicate effectively and respectfully with passengers, families, facilities, and dispatch.
- Represent KQT with professionalism and integrity at all times.
Physical Demands
Sit, stand, walk, bend, squat, twist, push, pull, and reach for extended periods.Assist participants with mobility, including stair navigation and wheelchair support.Frequently lift and move up to 125 pounds.Minimum Requirements
High school diploma or GED.Valid driver’s license in good standing. Delaware employees require a Z endorsement, Maryland Employees require PSC Certification.Current CPR certification.COVID Vaccination required for dedicated PACE Drivers.One year of related driving or customer service experience preferred.Ability to work a flexible schedule.Basic computer skills (timekeeping and documentation are electronic).Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, physical exam (DOT physical may be required), and background check.Apply today and take the next step in your career with KQT!
