Base pay range $50,000.00 / yr - $52,000.00 / yr

Community Manager – Responsibilities

  • The Community Manager oversees the entire operations of a housing community under the supervision of the Regional Manager.
  • Manage all phases of operations, including personnel, leasing, maintenance, financial, administration & risk management.
  • On-site leadership to supervise property and staff, ensuring compliance with Asset Living policies, safety and fair housing guidelines, and liability considerations.
  • Develop and implement resident retention programs; address resident complaints and improve resident satisfaction.
  • Lead emergency response planning and execution; ensure timely and proper handling of property emergencies with staff and residents.

Education / Experience

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or four years’ experience in the housing industry; or one to two years related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.
  • Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
  • Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.
  • Physical Requirements

  • Regularly communicate with others; may require extended periods of standing, walking, or moving between sites.
  • Normal to heavy physical activity; ability to lift and move items up to 25 lbs; work in various environments, including outdoor and indoor settings.
  • License / Equipment

  • Must have reliable transportation due to the emergency on-call requirement.
  • Salary and Benefits

    Salary Range : $50,000 per year to $52,000 per year
