Field Sales Engineer – Daikin Applied Americas

Location : Hybrid role based out of eastern Georgia with frequent, local travel to customers and job sites.

What You Will Do

• Achieve quarterly quotas and annual sales plans.
• Obtain and close sales on a monthly basis.
• Consistent planning and effective sales activities to maximize selling time with minimal travel and waiting time.
• Create short-term and long-range planning for certain projects through intricate progression of customer contacts and cooperation with other Sales Engineers, Sales Agents, Districts, Regions and Headquarters.
• Analyze customer needs with respect to several alternate solutions using Daikin Applied air conditioning and refrigeration products, systems and service.
• Maintain current knowledge of competitive products and system characteristics, including local competitive pricing, and apply economic considerations : first cost, operating cost, owning cost to projects.
• Analyze competitive products and selling techniques.
• Perform take-offs of plans and specifications, develop and price the estimate, write the proposal and bid the job with selections of Daikin Applied equipment utilizing competitive advantages.
• Prepare and submit all technical data for approval. Review of all submittals and orders prior to processing.

The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $80,400 - $132,800 in Georgia. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Additionally, this position is eligible for a sales incentive plan.
