What You Will Do

• Design and build large‑scale machine learning algorithms to deeply optimize e‑commerce search engines such as ranking, query analysis, and correlation calculation, and various business indicators of sorting scenarios, including relevance, click‑through rate, conversion rate, etc.
• Build machine learning solutions and algorithm strategies by analyzing and mining a large number of user queries to empower the merchant side and improve the overall matching ability of the platform.
• Use the large scale of data to deeply analyze the behavior of creators and merchants and build targeted algorithm strategies to empower creators and merchants, improve merchants' monetization efficiency, and boost industrial upgrading.
• Support the rapid development of TikTok’s e‑commerce business, serve millions of merchants, explore more efficient business models, satisfy users with the best shopping experience, and promote great ecological development.

【For Pay Transparency】Compensation Description (annually) The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $136,800 – $280,000 annually. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses / incentives, and restricted stock units.
