Our client, an industry leader in material handling and processing, is seeking a Material Handler to join their team. As a Material Handler, you will be part of the operations support team supporting production and maintenance activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to safety, and the ability to work effectively in a physically demanding environment.

Job Title : Material Handler

Location : Independence, OR

Pay Range : $19.50

Shift : 2nd - 3pm-11 : 30pm

What's the Job?

• Ensure the flow of organic materials through shakers by monitoring and poking to prevent bridging
• Inform heavy equipment operators when shakers need refilling
• Perform housekeeping duties such as scraping, sweeping, shoveling, and stacking bags to maintain a clean work environment
• Assist with small bag line operations and restacking pallets as needed
• Report equipment issues to maintenance personnel to ensure smooth operations
