Job Description

Thermoforming Machine Operator

Do you have 6+ months of manufacturing or machine operation experience and enjoy hands-on technical work? We’re looking for a Thermoforming Machine Operator to join a growing production team and help keep operations running smoothly in a Monday–Thursday role.

Our client is a leader in plastic packaging and thermoforming solutions. They’re known for innovation, high-quality products, and a strong focus on employee development. If you're mechanically inclined and want a stable role with room to grow, this could be the perfect fit.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys both machine operation and mechanical troubleshooting. You’ll work four 10-hour days, have Fridays off, and gain experience in an in-demand manufacturing skill set.

  • Job Type :  Temporary
  • Job Summary :  Set up, operate, and maintain thermoforming machines. Assist with tooling, adjustments, and quality checks to ensure efficient daily production.

Job Duties :

  • Set up thermoforming machines and perform daily startup tasks
  • Perform tooling changes and shimming as required for different runs
  • Complete basic tooling repairs and knife changes
  • Monitor machine performance and adjust settings, including heats and programs
  • Perform required paperwork and documentation for production and maintenance
  • Work on the production line when needed to cover attendance gaps
  • Conduct daily preventive maintenance (PMs) to keep equipment running efficiently

    • Pay :  $16.00 per hour

    Schedule :

    Monday–Thursday, 6 : 00 AM – 4 : 30 PM EST

    (Enjoy 3-day weekends!)

    Experience or Skill Requirements :

  • 6+ months of machine operation or manufacturing experience
  • Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn machine setups and tooling
  • Ability to follow written and computer-based instructions
  • Dependable and flexible — willing to work on the line when needed
  • Comfortable with basic maintenance tasks and documentation
