Collections Assistant

SUMMARY

Assists the Loan Adjustment Officer in coordinating the activities of collecting delinquent accounts of customers by performing the following duties personally or through supervisors.

EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE

• One-year certificate from college or technical school; six (6) months related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• General knowledge and understanding of lending, consumer loan agreement, consumer loan collections and related documents preferred.

Credit must be in good standing. Must be bondable pursuant to §713.3(b) of the NCUA's Rules and Regulations.
