THE ROLE Our site in Aurora, IL is seeking a Data Scientist Co-Op to join our team for the Spring 2026 season. This assignment is intended to be 6 months in duration. The Data Scientist Co-op will support the Data Management and Science team in SAS programming, as well as the maintenance and development of analytical tools. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on real-world manufacturing data projects, contribute to cloud-based data models, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to influence business decisions on production, quality, and supply chain.

What You'll Do

• Design new and enhance existing SAS-based analytical tools for different functional teams
• Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and transformation
• Maintain and improve interactive dashboards and reports using tools like SAS Visual Analytics or Power BI
• Collaborate with IT and Data Engineering teams to debug and design data models in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Snowflake
• Conduct statistical modeling and root cause analyses to identify trends and generate insights
• Create and maintain analytical training instruction slides to support knowledge sharing
